Chapter 01 — Shree Thakur Agri Industries
THE SOIL
Farm blades from Mandi Gobindgarh — boron steel, two brands, one forge.
01The company
Six years in the field.
Shree Thakur Agri Industries makes farm blades and wear parts in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab. For 6+ years we have supplied factories, dealers, and bulk buyers with blades that work in real fields — across India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
We control every step — from steel sheet to finished, packed blades — so every batch is the same. Quality, enough stock, and reliable supply: that is the whole promise.
02The steel
30MnCrB5 boron steel.
Blades are heat-treated to 48–52 HRC — edge hardness with a tough core. High strength resists fatigue, keeps a sharp edge, and means less bending and cracking in hard soil.
| Element | Content |
|---|---|
| Carbon (C) | ~0.30% |
| Manganese (Mn) | 1.10–1.40% |
| Chromium (Cr) | 0.30–0.60% |
| Boron (B) | Trace — for hardness |
| Silicon (Si) | Balanced for strength |
Titanium options available on request. Compare steel grade and hardness — not just brand paint.
